and/or temporary improvement of moderate to severe severe glabellar lines associated with procerus muscle activity.
2. Muscle stiffness: Treatment of upper extremity local muscle stiffness associated with stroke in adults aged 19 years or older
2) Usage and dosage
1. Glabellar lines
Dilute to 100U/2.5mL (4U/0.1mL) with sterile physiological saline (0.9% sodium chloride). Using a 30-gauge injection needle, inject 0.1 mL each to a total of 5 sites, two of each corrugator muscle and one of the procerus muscle, for a total of 20U.
Avoid injections near the levator palpebrae superioris to reduce complications of blepharospasm, especially in patients with large brow inhibitors. When injecting into the inner eyebrow crease muscle and the center of the eyebrow, the injection should be made at least 1 cm away from the upper corner around the eye.
