Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes (group A-beta-hemolytic), other streptococci, Influenza, parainfluenza, catarrhal, bacteroid fragilis, Escherichia coli, pertussis, parapertussis , Borrelia burgdorferi, soft hypobacteria, gonorrhea, Chlamydia trachomatis, Legionella pneumophila, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Mycoplasma hominis, Campylobacter, Toxoplasma tendia, Syphilis
○ Indications
- Lower respiratory infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia
- Upper respiratory infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Otitis media
- Simple genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis
2) Usage and dosage
○ Adult
1) Sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis: As azithromycin, 1g (potency) is administered once.
2) Other indications
- 3-day regimen: As azithromycin, administer 500mg (potency) once a day for 3 days [total dosage 1.5g (potency)].
- 5-day regimen: 500mg (potency) is administered once on the first day.
From the second day, administer 250mg (potency) once a day for 4 days [total dose 1.5g (potency)].
○ Children (more than 45kg)
Administer the same as the adult dose.
○ Elderly people
Administer the same as the usage and dosage for adults.
