- 500 mg of L-arginine hydrochloride per kg of the subject's body weight as a 10% solution is injected intravenously slowly over 30 minutes.
- Diagnosis method
1) Diagnosis the next morning after fasting and sleeping as usual
2) Lie down and rest for at least 30 minutes before the injection.
3) After injection into the antecubital vein or other appropriate site, blood is collected from the vein of the opposite arm.
4) The blood collection schedule is divided into 30 minutes before, 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150 minutes.
5) After starting the infusion, administer the recommended amount for 30 minutes without changing the dosage.
6) Blood collected before radioimmunoassay is immediately centrifuged and plasma is stored at -20°C.
7) The result of growth hormone deficiency is diagnosed by retesting this drug or an insulin-induced hypoglycemia test (recommended test interval is after waiting 1 day).
