Jeil Dexamethasone Injection (Allergy)

1) Efficacy, effect

. Endocrine disorders: primary and secondary adrenocortical insufficiency, acute adrenocortical insufficiency, adreno-adrenal syndrome

2. Rheumatic disorders

As adjuvant therapy for short-term administration to prevent acute progression or worsening, the following diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, polyarthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gouty arthritis, acute and subacute bursitis, epicondylitis, and acute non-specific tenosynovitis.

3. Collagen diseases: systemic lupus erythematosus, acute rheumatic carditis, systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis), scleroderma, rheumatic fever

4. Skin diseases: pemphigus, severe psoriasis, neurodermatitis, edematous sclerosis in adults, lichen

5. Allergic diseases: bronchial asthma, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, serum sickness, seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, drug hypersensitivity reaction, urticaria, hay fever, anaphylactic shock.

6. Eye diseases: iritis, iridocyclitis, chorioretinitis, keratitis

7. Gastrointestinal disease: ulcerative colitis

8. Blood diseases: acquired hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia

9. Neoplastic disease: Leukemia (temporary measure) 10

. Edematous disease: nephrotic syndrome

11. Nervous system disease: Hodgkin's disease (temporary measure)

12. Other: In case of emergency of severe infection

2) Usage, dosage

Dexamethasone phosphate is usually administered to adults as follows depending on the method of administration.

1) Intravenous or intramuscular injection: 2 to 8 mg once every 3 to 6 hours.

2) Drop injection: 2 to 10 mg once a day, 1 to 2 times a day3) Intra-articular injection, intrabursal injection: 0.8 to 5 mg once, in principle, an administration interval of 2 weeks or more4) Intra-soft tissue injection: 2 to 1 time 6mg, in principle, at an administration interval of 2 weeks or more5) Intrahay injection: 0.8-2.5mg once , in principle at an administration interval of 2 weeks or more

6) Local intradermal injection: 0.05 to 0.1 mg per time up to 1 mg once a week 7) Subconjunctival injection: once

0.4~2.5mg 8) Postoral injection: 1~5mg per time

However, it should be increased or decreased appropriately depending on age and symptoms.
