1) Efficacy, effect

Hypertension (essential, nephrogenic, etc.), malignant hypertension, cardiac edema (congestive heart failure), renal edema, hepatic edema, edema due to premenstrual tension, edema caused by corticosteroids, phenylbutazone, and estrogen.

2) Usage, dosage

○ Adult

1. Edema: Hydrochlorothiazide is administered orally at a dose of 25-100 mg 1-2 times a day.

2. High blood pressure: Administer 25-50mg of this drug 1-2 times per day in divided doses. However, in case of malignant hypertension, it is usually administered in combination with other antihypertensive drugs.

3. Premenstrual tension: Administer 25-50mg of this drug 1-2 times a day.

Increase or decrease appropriately depending on age and symptoms. .
