1) Efficacy, effect

This drug is administered as an adjunct to diet and exercise therapy to improve blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes.

1. This drug is administered as monotherapy.
2. This drug is administered as combination therapy in the following cases.
1) If blood sugar control is not adequately achieved with oral hypoglycemic agents, combined administration with insulin
2) If blood sugar control is not adequately achieved with sulfonylurea or metformin monotherapy, administer this drug in combination with metformin.


2) Usage, dosage

Oral administration once a day
