2) Usage, dosage
Finasteride is administered orally at 5 mg once a day, regardless of meal. -Even if symptoms improve upon taking this medication, treatment for at least 6 months is required. - Patients with renal failure: From a pharmacokinetic point of view, there was no change when administering this drug, so it can be used in various types of renal failure patients There is no need to adjust the dose (reatinine clearance rate: 9.0mL/min). -Elderly: In elderly people over 70 years of age, there is no need to adjust the dose, although excretion of this drug is slightly reduced.
