Myocardial metabolic disorders caused by ischemic heart disease: angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction
Adults: As L-carnitine, take 2-3 grams per day, divided into 2-3 doses and inject intramuscularly or intravenously.
Increase or decrease appropriately depending on age and symptoms.
2. Treatment of carnitine deficiency in patients with end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis
Initially, 10 to 20 milligrams/kilogram is administered intravenously over 2 to 3 minutes at the end of each hemodialysis session.
However, the dose can be adjusted depending on the plasma L-carnitine level before hemodialysis.
