1) Efficacy, effect

Testosterone replacement therapy for primary and secondary hypogonadism in men.

2) Usage, dosage

This drug is testosterone undecanoate, and 1,000 mg is injected every 10 to 14 weeks to maintain sufficient testosterone concentration without accumulation in the body. Injections should be administered very slowly and only intramuscularly. Particular care should be taken to avoid intravascular administration.

Start treatment:

Before starting treatment, blood testosterone levels should be measured. For the first injection, the interval can be shortened to at least 6 weeks. Initiating treatment in this manner allows steady-state drug levels to be reached quickly.

Maintenance of treatment:

It is recommended that blood testosterone levels be measured occasionally before further injections. If the concentration is lower than normal, the interval between injections should be shortened. If blood levels are high, extending the interval may be considered. However, the injection interval should be within the recommended range (10 to 14 weeks).
